Resetting an Assessment
We usually recommend sticking with the first MAP results as those tend to be the most accurate responses. Repeated retakes can distort results making them less useful.
However, if technical issues or other factors are believed to have unduly influenced the results, or you’ve encountered a ‘Compressed’ error, the assessment can be re-taken.
There are two options for repeating an assessment.
- Delete Results: Contact Talent Insights Support at 817-886-5817 or email support@talentinsights.com. Provide the name and email address of the Participant who’s assessment needs to be reset and we will clear their results. Once their assessment results have been cleared, you can go into your Account and use the ‘Resend Invite’ to email them an invitation to retake the assessment.
- Archive Results: To have a Participant retake the assessment, without deleting the original results, open their Profile and edit their email address by adding ‘donotuse’ before the @ symbol. Then archive the Participant. Now you can use the Send a MAP feature to invite them to re-take the assessment using the original email address.
