How do I reset my password?

What if the Portal says that a candidate has already taken the MAP, so I can’t sign them up?

MAPs are tied to a specific email address. Please ask your employee or candidate to take the MAP with a different email address.

Do candidates and employees get a copy of their MAP results?

Yes, everyone gets a copy of their Personal MAP Report. The executive summary report is viewable by Managers.

Are your assessments valid and reliable?

Yes. Our assessments have been studied extensively to ensure reliability and validity. You can view the MAP Research report here.

How are the assessment results from Myers & Briggs, DISC, and Holland Code consolidated and reported in your system?

Our platform integrates results from Myers-Briggs, DISC, and Holland Code assessments to provide a customized interpretation that aligns with the competencies needed for specific roles. We don't just report the raw data; instead, we interpret the results to highlight job-related traits, ensuring relevancy in real-world applications.

How do you ensure that the tests used through Talent Insights do not have a disparate impact on members of a protected class?

Talent Insights takes multiple steps to prevent disparate impact:

  • Validation: The assessments are validated for accuracy, ensuring they measure what they are supposed to in a fair way for all candidates.
  • Bias Monitoring: We actively monitor the assessments for any signs of bias or adverse impact, taking action immediately if any issues arise.

How does your product help ensure that the assessments measure job-relevant traits and skills?

Is AI used in the platform?

Yes, AI is used to enhance the analysis and interpretation of assessment data. It helps by:

How should the assessment results be used in the hiring process?

Assessment results are a valuable tool but should be part of a holistic hiring process. Decisions should also consider skills, work experience, reference feedback, and interview performance to ensure a balanced evaluation.

Can I use the MAP to make hiring decisions?

The MAP can really help you understand a candidate better and how they may interact with their manager, the work, and the team. However, the MAP should not be used as the sole information for making a hiring decision. You should always include an evaluation of skills, work samples, experience, and structured interviews to evaluate a candidate's fit.

Can you reset an assessment if the results seem off?

In most circumstances we recommend sticking with the first MAP results as those tend to be the most accurate responses. If technical issues or confusion resulted in incomplete or inaccurate results, we’d be happy to reset the assessment for you. Just email support@talentinsights.com to ask for help.

Remember that the first results will be deleted once the assessments are reset.

How often should I retake the MAP?

Typically, the first results are the most accurate and so we recommend you stick with those. There are no wrong answers, just be yourself!

Does my personality change over time?

Personality type stabilizes once you’ve reached adulthood, however you will notice that as we mature, we often learn to utilize our strengths better and minimize weaknesses, or that certain characteristics are expressed more softly or more boldly, but those don’t big mean your personality type has changed. These are signs of growth, and with self-awareness and mindful practice, you can grow into the best version of your personality.

If you are curious about how you’ve grown and changed, look back at your MAP strengths and evaluate how you are capitalizing on those compared to a year ago. Then look back at your MAP weaknesses. Are you modifying your weaknesses so they’re a smaller obstacle than they used to be? Do you find you can overcome differences when working with personality types that are quite different from yours? If the answer is yes, then you are growing!

How do I renew by subscription?

Your subscription will automatically renew if you still have a valid payment method attached to your account. You will be notified by email before your next subscription renewal. Be sure to keep your account owner and billing email address up to date so you don’t miss any news about your account.

Can I cancel my subscription?

We are happy to provide a refund in the first 30 days of your subscription if you change your mind. Once your account is cancelled, you will no longer have access to your portal and the data in your account.
